Juan Oswaldo Montoya Uribe

Graduated in Materials Engineering (2011) from the University of Antioquia (COL), master in Materials for Engineering by the Federal University of Itajubá; I am currently a doctoral student at the same university and in the same course. My thesis research is about developing dielectric ceramics, where my personal goal is to have an upward career in the field for my professional development. I have conceptual clarity for basic and applied research in the development of projects, as well as interpersonal skills in the participation of projects that require interface with other areas. Knowledge of the nature and constitution of engineering materials, as well as the relationship between the properties that characterize their behavior for the development of materials according to research needs and their industrial applications.

I currently belong to the working group GDMaF (Functional Materials Development Group) in which we do research for Shell (Brazilian), and writing articles related to the development of dielectric ceramics for use in batteries. I have conceptual clarity for basic and applied research in project development, as well as interpersonal skills in participating in projects that require an interface with other areas. Knowledge of the nature and constitution of engineering materials, as well as the relationship between the properties that characterize their behavior for the development of materials according to research needs and their industrial applications.
