Elisa Mousinho Gomes Carvalho Silva

I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in Forestry Engineering with a specialization in Forest Ecology from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to study for a year at the Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy through the Ciências sem Fronteiras program. Throughout my academic journey, I actively participated in various extracurricular activities, including mentoring in Morphology and Plant Systematics, an internship in the field of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), scientific research in the area of Wood Technology and at the Bolsa Verde Program in the area of GIS, participation in the Rondon Project, and engagement in artistic productions. After completing my master's degree, I worked as a translator for technical and legal documents (English/Portuguese and Portuguese/English), and currently, I am dedicated to socio-environmental research.

Sou graduada e mestra em Engenharia Florestal com ênfase em Ecologia Florestal pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA). Durante minha graduação tive a oportunidade de estudar por um ano na Università degli Studi di Padova, na Itália, pelo programa Ciências sem Fronteiras. Ao longo da minha trajetória acadêmica, participei ativamente de atividades extracurriculares, incluindo monitoria de Morfologia e Sistemática Vegetal, estágio na área de Sensoriamento Remoto e Sistemas de Informação Geográfica (GIS), iniciação científica (IC) na área de Tecnologia da Madeira, IC na área de GIS pelo Programa Bolsa Verde, participação no Projeto Rondon e produções artísticas. Após o mestrado, trabalhei como tradutora (inglês/português e português/inglês) de documentos técnicos e jurídicos e atualmente me dedico a pesquisasocioambiental.
