Thiago Martins Caldas Prado

Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa pelo CNPq (PQ-2), Professor Titular da Universidade do Estado da Bahia e Membro Correspondente da Academia de Letras de Aracaju, Thiago Martins Prado é pós-doutor pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura, Cultura e Contemporaneidade da PUC-Rio (2019), doutor em Letras pela UFBA (2011), possui mestrado em Letras pela UFBA (2005), especialista em Linguística Aplicada pela FSG (2021) e graduou-se em Letras Vernáculas (licenciatura e bacharelado) pela UFBA (2002). Integra a equipe de permanentes do corpo docente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudo de Linguagens (PPGEL-Uneb) e do Programa de Doutorado Multi-institucional e Multidisciplinar em Difusão do Conhecimento (DMMDC-UFBA/UNEB/IFBA/UEFS/LNCC/SENAI-CIMATEC), compõe a equipe de professores do Curso de Letras do DCHT XXIII no Campus de Seabra-Uneb e a equipe de professores-formadores da UNEAD-UNEB/UAB/CAPES. É membro titular do Comitê Institucional de Iniciação Científica da Uneb, responsável pela Área de Letras, Linguística e Artes. Como poeta, autor de A inutilidade das (p)arcas (FUNCEB, 2002) e de A reutilização das pedras (Editora UFS, 2010); como estudioso da área de Linguagens, autor de Utopia política, vanguarda e ritual: linguagem e temporalidade na poesia de Mário Jorge (Editora UFS, 2008), de Deus morto, Deus posto: o sagrado e a sexualidade na poesia de Araripe Coutinho (Editora UFS, 2014) e A crise de 2008 sob uma perspectiva da linguagem (Quarteto Editora, 2021). Coordenou a pesquisa Análise dos Descritores da Prova Brasil (2010) e coordenou a atividade de extensão Avaliação Diagnóstica em Língua Portuguesa (2013-2014). Coordenou a pesquisa O Romance de Palahniuk como Narrativa Alegórica da Crise Econômica Contemporânea (2014-2016), a pesquisa Análise da Personagem Polônio em William Shakespeare e em John Updike (2014-2016). Atualmente, desenvolve a pesquisa Estratégias literárias em discursos contemporâneos sobre crise, cujo subprojeto O Recurso Tropológico na Construção de Efeitos de Verdade em Narrativas da Crise Econômica de 2008 é financiado pelo Edital Universal 018/2021 do CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT (Processo: 405218/2021-4). Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre Contemporaneidade (EICon).

Research Productivity Scholarship by CNPq (PQ-2), Full Professor at the State University of Bahia and Corresponding Member of the Aracaju Academy of Letters, Thiago Martins Prado is a postdoctoral fellow at the Postgraduate Program in Literature, Culture and Contemporaneity from PUC-Rio (2019), PhD in Letters from UFBA (2011), Master's in Letters from UFBA (2005), specialist in Applied Linguistics from FSG (2021) and graduated in Vernacular Letters (degree and bachelor's degree) from UFBA (2002). Member of the permanent staff of the faculty of the Graduate Program in Language Studies (PPGEL-Uneb) and the Multi-institutional and Multidisciplinary Doctoral Program in Knowledge Dissemination (DMMDC-UFBA/UNEB/IFBA/UEFS/LNCC/ SENAI-CIMATEC), makes up the team of professors of the Languages Course of the DCHT XXIII at the Campus of Seabra-Uneb and the team of professors-trainers of UNEAD-UNEB/UAB/CAPES. He is a member of the Institutional Committee for Scientific Initiation at Uneb, responsible for the Area of Letters, Linguistics and Arts. As a poet, author of A inutilidade das (p)arcas (FUNCEB, 2002) and A re-utilidade das Pedras (Editora UFS, 2010); as a scholar in the field of Languages, author of Political Utopia, Vanguard and Ritual: Language and Temporality in the Poetry of Mário Jorge (Editora UFS, 2008), of Deus Morto, DeusPosito: The Sacred and Sexuality in the Poetry of Araripe Coutinho (Editora Coutinho) UFS, 2014) and The 2008 crisis from a language perspective (Quarteto Editora, 2021). He coordinated the research Analysis of Descriptors of Prova Brasil (2010) and coordinated the extension activity Diagnostic Assessment in Portuguese (2013-2014). He coordinated the research The Romance of Palahniuk as an Allegorical Narrative of the Contemporary Economic Crisis (2014-2016), the research Analysis of the Character of Polonius in William Shakespeare and in John Updike (2014-2016). He is currently developing the research Literary strategies in contemporary discourses on crisis, whose subproject The Tropological Resource in the Construction of Truth Effects in Narratives of the 2008 Economic Crisis is financed by Universal Notice 018/2021 of CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT (Process: 405218/ 2021-4). Leader of the Interdisciplinary Studies on Contemporaneity Research Group (EICon).
