Jose Adelmar de Mello Franco

Masters in Rock Mechanics Engineering at The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (1988) and PhD in Rock Mechanics Engineering at The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (2011). Has experience in Civil Engineering, focusing on Mechanical of the Rocks. Worked for more than 30 years in one of the largest Hydropower Companies in Brazil (Eletrobras FURNAS) and now he is a Consultant and Manager in the area of Engioneering Rock Mechanics.

Possui mestrado em Rock Mechanics Engineering -The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (1988) e doutorado em Rock Mechanics Engineering - The Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (2011). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Mecânicas das Rochas, Obras de Terra e Fundações. Foi engenheiro da Eletrobras FURNAS, de 1980 a 2011. Atualmente exerce a atividade de Consultoria e Gestão na área da Engenharia de Maciços Rochosos.
