Josie do Amaral Bastos

Adjunct Professor at the Department of Social Communication at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). PhD in Public Policy from the Graduate Program in Public Policy at UFMA with a Doctoral internship at the College of Education & Human Ecology (Department of Educational Studies), Ohio State University, Columbus (USA). Master by the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Culture and Society (PGCULT) by the Federal University of Maranhão. Specialist in Cultural Journalism from the same institution and a degree in Social Communication - Journalism from UFJF. Currently (2022) coordinates the Institutional Communication Institute -UFMA / SCE, the Media Center at TV University broadcast ( TVUFMA) , and the Extension Project -an inclusive proposal in the spaces and productions of TV UFMA. Also she integrates the Research Group of the Center for Studies and Strategies in Communication-NEEC, linked to the Department of Communication at UFMA.

Doutora em Políticas Públicas pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Políticas Públicas da UFMA com estágio Doutoral no College of Education & Human Ecology (Department of Educational Studies), Ohio State University, Columbus (USA). Mestre pelo Programa de Pós-graduação Interdisciplinar em Cultura e Sociedade (PGCULT) pela Universidade Federal do Maranhão. Especialista em Jornalismo Cultural pela mesma Instituição e graduação em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo pela UFJF. Atualmente (2022-2023) é Diretora-geral da TV UFMA/ SCE, e coordena os projetos de Extensão CanalParatodos - uma proposta inclusiva nos espaços e nas produções da TV UFMA e SOS Robótica, propostas de inovação e educação na TV UFMA. Coordena o Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Ensino e Pesquisa em Telejornalismo e práticas inclusivas (NIEPIN) e Integra o grupo de Pesquisa do Núcleo de Estudos e Estratégias em Comunicação - NEEC, vinculados ao Departamento de Comunicação da UFMA.
