Luís Augusto Mesquita de Castro

Graduated (2015) in Control Engineering and Automation by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA). Master (2018) and PhD (2022) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Mainly works in the following areas: Modeling and Identification of Systems; Intelligent Systems; Artificial Neural Networks; Logic and Fuzzy Control; Evolutionary Algorithms; Digital Control; Adaptive Control; Predictive Control; Stochastic Control; Robust Control with applications in Industrial Processes, Power Systems and Biomechanical Systems. Currently Software Analyst and Data Scientist at the Eldorado Research Institute (IPE) linked to Motorola's AI for Services project, developing Machine Learning models applied to Business Analytics.

Possui graduação (2015) em Engenharia de Controle e Automação pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará (IFPA). Possui Mestrado (2018) e Doutorado (2022) em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Atua principalmente nas áreas: Modelagem e Identificação de Sistemas; Sistemas Inteligentes; Redes Neurais Artificiais; Lógica e Controle Fuzzy; Algoritmos Evolucionários; Controle Digital; Controle Adaptativo; Controle Preditivo; Controle Estocástico; Controle Robusto com aplicações em Processos Industriais, Sistemas Elétricos de Potência e Sistemas Biomecânicos. Atualmente é Analista de Software e Cientista de Dados no Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado (IPE) onde é vinculado ao projeto AI for Services da Motorola, desenvolvendo modelos de Machine Learning aplicados à Business Analytics.
