Marina Batista Chaves de Azevedo Souza

Graduated in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB (2010-2014), Master in Administration and Society from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB (2015-2017) and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2018 -2020). She is currently Assistant Professor-A of the Occupational Therapy Course at the Federal University of Sergipe. She works in the field of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Social Sciences and Administration. She develops studies and practices mainly on: precariousness of work; informality and deregulation of work; uberization of work; work and youth; Worker's health; mental health; graduate training; active teaching methodologies; public health policies aimed at the LGBTQIA+ population; transversality of the discourse of diversity in graduate education. She currently holds the role of National Editorial Advisor at the Brazilian Interinstitutional Journal of Occupational Therapy. She participates in the Occupational Therapy and Mental Health Laboratory at UFSCar and in the Observatory on Precarious Work and Productive Restructuring. She is part of the founding team of the Brazilian Observatory of Occupational Therapy, Health and Work, and the founding team of the Lesbian Occupational Therapists Network. She is a columnist for the Daily Left Portal in the "Observatory" section.

Graduação em Terapia Ocupacional pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2014), Mestrado em Administração e Sociedade pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (2017) e Doutorado em Terapia Ocupacional pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2020). Atualmente é Professora Adjunta no Departamento de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPq intitulado Atividade, cotidiano, ocupação e Terapia Ocupacional: saberes e práticas nos diferentes campos de atuação. Faz parte da equipe de coordenação do Núcleo Poiesis (Laboratório de Interinstitucional de Terapia Ocupacional e Trabalho). Organizadora do livro "Terapia Ocupacional e Trabalho: Questões contemporâneas". Realiza pesquisas e práticas profissionais na área de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional, Ciências Sociais e Administração, com ênfase em temas, como: precarização do trabalho, informalidade; uberização e plataformização do trabalho; trabalho de populações vulneráveis ou minorias sociais; saúde do trabalhador; saúde mental e trabalho; população LGBTQIA+; metodologias ativas de ensino.
