Glicia Estevam de Abreu

Graduated in MEDICINE from ESCOLA BAHIANA DE MEDICINA E SAUDE PUBLICA (EBMSP) - 1990, PhD in Medicine and Human Health from EBMSP (2020), Master's in Surgery from the Federal University of Bahia (2000) and Titular Member of the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology. Currently researcher at the CENTRO DE DISTURBIOS MICCIONAIS NA INFÂNCIA-CEDIMI, adjunct professor at the ESCOLA BAHIANA DE MEDICINA E SAUDE PUBICA and coloproctologist at the STATE ONCOLOGY SERVICE. Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis on Coloproctological Surgery, working mainly on the following subjects: Anorectal physiology (anorectal manometry, endoanal ultrasound), constipation, fecal incontinence, Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction (BBD), orificial diseases (minimally invasive surgery), SACRAL NEUROMODULATION (SNS, PERCUTANEOUS AND TRANSCUTANEOUS PARASACRAL AND POSTERIOR TIBIAL)

Possui graduação em MEDICINA pela ESCOLA BAHIANA DE MEDICINA E SAUDE PUBLICA (1990), Doutora em Medicina e Saúde Humana pela EBMSP (2020), mestrado em em Cirurgia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2000) e membro Titular da Sociedade Brasileira de Coloproctologia. Atualmente é pesquisador do CENTRO DE DISTÚRBIOS MICCIONAIS NA INFÂNCIA-CEDIMI , professor-adjunto na ESCOLA BAHIANA DE MEDICINA E SAUDE PUBLICA e medico coloproctologista d SERVIÇO ESTADUAL DE ONCOLOGIA. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Cirurgia coloproctológica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Fisiologia anorretal (Manometria anorretal, Ultrassonografia endoanal), constipação, incontinência fecal, Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction (BBD), doenças orificiais (cirurgias minimamente invasivas), NEUROMODULAÇÃO SACRAL ( SNS, PERCUTÂNEA E TRANSCUTÂNEA PARASSACRAL E TIBIAL POSTERIOR).
