Marlon de Araújo Castelo Branco

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) - Campus Ministro Petrônio Portela (2011), technician in Agriculture from the same institution (2003) and PhD in Biotechnology from the Northeast Biotechnology Network (RENORBIO) / Federal University of Piauí (2016) ). He is currently a civil servant at the municipal government of Teresina, working in the management of zoonoses and coordinator of the center for the control of rabies, leishmaniasis and other zoonoses. He has experience in the area of Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on public health, andrology and Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction, working mainly on the following topics: unique health, zoonoses, physiology, histology, evaluation, cryopreservation, embryo and sperm technology.

Possuí graduação em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI) - Campus Ministro Petrônio Portela (2011), técnico em Agropecuária pela mesma instituição (2003) e doutorado em Biotecnologia pela Rede Nordeste de Biotecnologia (RENORBIO)/Universidade Federal do Piauí (2016). Atualmente é funcionário público da prefeitura municipal de Teresina, lotado na gerência de zoonoses e coordenador do núcleo de controle da raiva, leishmaniose e outras zoonoses. Tem experiência na área de Medicina Veterinária, com ênfase em saúde pública, andrologia e Biotecnologia da Reprodução Animal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: saúde única, zoonoses, fisiologia, histologia, avaliação, criopreservação, tecnologia de embriões e espermatozoides.
