After undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (2012). He obtained his M.Sc. (2015) and his Ph.D. (2019) in Organic Synthesis by the same university (USP) under guindance of Prof. Dr. Giuliano Cesar Clososki. During his Ph.D., he performed a sandwich period in Prof. P. Knochel's group at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Munich). Currently, he is Professor at the Department of Fundamental Chemistry and researcher member of the INCT TEC.CIS 4.0 at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He has experience in Organic Synthesis, focusing on the following areas: Metalation, halogen-metal exchange and Negishi cross-coupling reactions; Arenes and heteroarenes functionalization aiming the synthesis of bioactive substances; Continuous flow chemistry.
Licenciado em Química pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo - FFCLRP/USP (2012). Mestrado (2015) e Doutorado (2019) em Química, com ênfase em Síntese Orgânica, pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química da FFCLRP/USP sobre orientação do Prof. Dr. Giuliano Cesar Clososki. Durante o doutorado, realizou um período sanduíche (5 meses) no grupo do Prof. Dr. Paul Knochel (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität - München). Atualmente é docente do Departamento de Química Fundamental (dQF) e pesquisador integrante do Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia Positiva do Complexo Industrial da Saúde 4.0 (INCT TEC.CIS 4.0) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Tem experiência na área de Síntese Orgânica, atuando nos seguintes tópicos: Reações de metalação, troca halogênio-metal e acoplamento cruzado de Negishi; Funcionalização de compostos aromáticos e heteroaromáticos visando a síntese de substâncias bioativas; Química de fluxo contínuo.
