Iara Mesquita da Silva Braga

Graduated in Styling and Fashion at Federal University of Ceará (UFC) (2004), Master in Design and Marketing at University of Minho (2008). Professor of Fashion, Design and Styling Course of the Federal University of Piauí in the area of Theory and Research of Fashion. Develops projects and research aimed at the development of new products with an emphasis on the following topics: Comfort Science, Fashion Popular and Solidarity Economy. It is currently a student of the PhD program in Textile Engineering from the University of Minho - Portugal.

Possui Doutorado em Engenharia Têxtil - Universidade do Minho-PT (2020),Mestrado em Design e Marketing - Universidade do Minho-PT (2008) e graduação em Estilismo e Moda pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) (2004). Professora do Curso de Moda, Design e Estilismo da Universidade Federal do Piauí na área de Teoria e Pesquisa de Moda. Desenvolve projetos e pesquisas direcionados ao Desenvolvimento de Novos Produtos com ênfase nos seguintes temas: Ciência do Conforto, Moda Popular, EPI e Vestuário Cirúrgico e Hospitalares.
