Degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS 2005), master's degree (2008) and doctorate (2013) in Plant Biodiversity and Environment from the Botany Institute, in São Paulo. He specialized in Educational Management at Centro Universitário Leonardo da Vinci - Uniasselvi (2018) and is currently developing a postdoctoral internship at the Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB), with the project "Revealing Algae and Cyanobacteria from Vale do Itajaí".
He was a CNPq DTI-A fellow at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC Itajaí) and a substitute professor at IFSC Gaspar. He worked as an Environmental Analyst for the Intermunicipal Consortium of the Médio Vale do Itajaí (CIMVI) in the area of Environmental Education and Environmental Licensing. He has experience as a teacher in basic and higher education in public and private institutions. Since 2016, he has been a university professor and supervisor of distance learning subjects at UNIASSELVI, where he is a member of the Collegiate and NDE of Distance Learning Courses and integrates the Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability (NEAS) of the same institution.
He has experience in teaching, research and extension in the areas of Microbiology, Botany and Environmental Education, working mainly on the following topics: taxonomy and cultivation of microalgae and cyanobacteria, harmful algae, Pantanal lagoons, sustainability and environment. Professor and researcher enthusiastic about education with volunteer work in environmental education projects.

Atuou como Analista Ambiental do Consórcio Intermunicipal do Médio Vale do Itajaí (CIMVI) na área de Educação Ambiental e Licenciamento Ambiental. Possui experiência como professor no ensino básico e superior em instituições públicas e privadas. Desde 2016 atua como professor universitário e supervisor de disciplinas EAD na UNIASSELVI, onde é membro do Colegiado e NDE de Cursos EAD e integrante do Núcleo de Educação Ambiental e Sustentabilidade (NEAS) da mesma instituição.
Tem experiência em ensino, pesquisa e extensão nas áreas de Microbiologia, Botânica e Educação Ambiental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: taxonomia e cultivo de microalgas e cianobactérias, algas nocivas, lagoas do Pantanal, sustentabilidade e meio ambiente. Professor e pesquisador entusiasmado pela educação, com atuação voluntária em projetos de educação ambiental.
