Dr. Raphael Abrahão

Professor do Departamento de Engenharia de Energias Renováveis da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), com Doutorado pela Universidade de Zaragoza (Espanha, 2011) em Engenharia Química e do Meio Ambiente (área de Meio Ambiente). A tese de doutorado recebeu o prêmio de melhor tese da Universidade de Zaragoza em temas relacionados à engenharia do meio ambiente e engenharia civil nos anos 2010-2011. Trabalhou como pesquisador efetivo na Laurentian University/MIRARCO (Canadá) e como pesquisador colaborador na University of Tubingen (Alemanha). Os trabalhos de pesquisa desenvolvidos focam em Energia Renovável, Análise Ambiental de Sistemas Energéticos, Controle Ambiental e Relação entre Clima e Energia. Esses trabalhos foram desenvolvidos através de mais de 40 projetos científicos realizados no Brasil, Espanha, Alemanha e Canadá. Os resultados obtidos foram apresentados em mais de 160 trabalhos de divulgação (periódicos, livros e congressos). No momento atua no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Energias Renováveis (PPGER-UFPB) e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica (PPGEM-UFPB), além do curso de Graduação em Engenharia de Energias Renováveis da UFPB.

Professor in the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), with PhD from the University of Zaragoza (Spain, 2011) in Chemical and Environmental Engineering (Environment area). The doctoral thesis received the prize for best thesis from the University of Zaragoza on topics related to environmental engineering and civil engineering in the years 2010-2011. He worked as an effective researcher at Laurentian University/MIRARCO (Canada) and as a collaborative researcher at the University of Tubingen (Germany). The research work developed is related to Environmental Analysis of Energy Systems, Environmental Control and Adaptation to Climate Change. These works were developed through more than 40 scientific projects carried out in Brazil, Spain, Germany and Canada. The results obtained were presented in more than 160 dissemination works (periodicals, books and congresses). He currently works in the Graduate Program in Renewable Energies (PPGER-UFPB) and in the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering (PPGEM-UFPB), in addition to the Undergraduate Course in Renewable Energy Engineering at the UFPB.
