Degree in environmental engineering from the Federal University of Ouro Preto -UFOP, and currently, Master student in "Strategic Environmental Management" in Italy.Has an international exchange experience from the University of Coimbra / Portugal and the Univisità degli Studi di Padova, Italy.In summary is a professional:capable of addressing complexividade certain situations through the uncertainties of management and risk perception, 'Risk tolerance'; with ability to analyze carefully the costs and benefits of hypotheses before moving to action, 'Reflection'; assessing situations, opinions and from them generates its own idea, 'critical thinking' and proactive; ability to consider various forward-looking, being flexible when necessary, 'adaptability'.

Lara Castro é Engenheira Ambiental. Possui diplomas de MSc em Strategic Environmental Management pela Universidade de Pádua, Itália, e BSc em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto-MG. Profissionalmente, trabalha como HSE manager, Life Cycle Assessment e Sustainability Analyst; atuou na área de ensino como Professora de Química e como Consultora e Revisora Ambiental. Apresenta relevante experiência em implementação e gestão de sistemas ambientais segundo a Norma ISO 14001 e Regulamento EMAS e em sistemas de segurança e saúde do trabalhador baseados na ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001). Dispõe de sólidos conhecimentos teóricos e práticos em temas como Estudo de Impacto Ambiental (EIA), Carbon Footprint, Water Footprint e Circular Economy.
