Isabel Cristina de Moura Carvalho

Isabel Cristina de Moura Carvalho has a degree in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1984), a specialization in psychoanalysis from the Santa Úrsula University, RJ (1990), a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, RJ (1989) and a doctorate in Education by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2001). Post-doctorate in Anthropology at the University of San Diego, California (UCSD), from February/2006 to February/2007. Since 2022 she has been studying Psychoanalytic Psychopathology at Sedes Sapientiae. She is currently a permanent professor at the PPG in Education at UFMG. CNPq productivity fellow. She coordinates the line of research "Religion and the environment: the sacralization of nature and the naturalization of the sacred" at the Laboratory of Religious Studies (LAR), at UNICAMP. She has her research and publications in the thematic axes environment, learning, well-being and secular spiritualities. From 2013 to 2022, she researched the regulation of ethics in education research. From 2021 to 2023 she was president of the Brazilian Environmental Education Fund FUNBEA.

Isabel Cristina de Moura Carvalho tem graduação em Psicologia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1984), especialização em psicanálise pela Universidade Santa Úrsula, RJ (1990), mestrado em Psicologia da Educação pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas, RJ (1989) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2001). Pós-doutorado em antropologia na Universidade de San Diego, Califórnia (UCSD), de fevereiro/2006 à fevereiro/2007. Desde 2022 estuda Psicopatologia Psicanalítica no Sedes Sapientiae. Atualmente é professora permanente no PPG de Educação da UFMG. Bolsista produtividade do CNPq. Coordena a linha de pesquisa "Religião e ambiente: a sacralização da natureza e a naturalização do sagrado" no Laboratório de Estudos da Religião (LAR), na UNICAMP. Tem suas pesquisas e publicações nos eixos temáticos ambiente, aprendizagem, bem-estar e espiritualidades seculares. De 2013 a 2022, pesquisou a regulação da ética na pesquisa em educação. De 2021 a 2023 foi presidente do Fundo Brasileiro de Educação Ambiental FUNBEA.
