Adjunct-II Professor of Sociology at the Federal University of Maranhão-UFMA working in the Degree in Humanities / Sociology of Campus São Bernardo. Collaborating Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Culture and Society-Pgcult (UFMA). Leader of the Epistemology Research Group of Anthropology, Ethnology and Politics (CNPQ). Member of the Portuguese Association of Anthropology-APA. PhD in Anthropology from the University of São Paulo - USP (2018) with concentration area in indigenous ethnology. Has a Master's degree in Anthropology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2008). Degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Maranhão-UFMA (2006). Has experience in Anthropology mainly on the following subjects: ethnology, especially, of the Timbira people and the Tenetehara / Guajajara people. Currently conducting research on indigenous peoples in higher education and affirmative actions.

Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Epistemologia da Antropologia, Etnologia e Política (CNPQ). Membro do Coletivo Mururu/Rede (CO)Vida- Rede de Mapeamento da Pandemia de Covid-19 entre os povos indígenas no Maranhão. Membro efetivo da Associação Brasileira de Antropologia -ABA, da Associação Portuguesa de Antropologia-APA e Membro da Salsa- Society for the Anthropology of Lowland South America. Compõe o Grupo de Trabalho Índios na História da ANPUH-Seção Maranhão. Atualmente realizando pesquisa na linha de Etnologia sobre história e presença indígena no Baixo Parnaíba Maranhense e pandemia da Covid-19 entre os povos indígenas no Maranhão e, na linha de gênero, pesquisas sobre mulheres indígenas, teorias feministas interseccionais e teoria queer.
