Daniel Luciano Gevehr

I have a postdoctoral degree in history from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). He completed a second post-doctorate in history at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS). He holds a doctorate and a master's degree in history from UNISINOS. I have a degree in history from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) and a degree in geography from the Uninter University Center (UNINTER). He is a Professor of the Graduate Program in Regional Development (PPGDR - FACCAT), where he also acts as Leader of the Research Group (CNPq) Institutions, Territorial Planning and Public Policies for Regional Development. He participates as a researcher in the groups Regional Strategies (UNILASALLE University), Study Group on the History of Immigration (University of Passo Fundo - UPF), History of Women and Gender Studies (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS). He is the coordinator of NIEMI - Interdisciplinary Center for Migratory and Identities Studies, in partnership with universities in Brazil and abroad. Coordinates projects in the area of #8203;#8203;cultural heritage, heritage education and management of the municipal museum with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Sapiranga (RS). His field of investigation currently privileges issues involving historical and contemporary migrations, the issue of cultural heritage, heritage education, memory, sensibilities and the production of urban spaces. Research, still on the representations of race, ethnicity and gender. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;history, education and regional development, working mainly on the following topics: history of Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul, historical and contemporary migratory movements, Mucker movement, cultural heritage, urban spaces, memory, representations and gender relations , race and ethnicity and identity processes in migratory contexts.

Possuí pós-doutorado em história pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Realizou um segundo pós-doutoramento em história pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS). É doutor e mestre em história pela UNISINOS. Possuí graduação em história pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) e graduação em geografia pelo Centro Universitário Uninter (UNINTER). É Professor Titular do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Desenvolvimento Regional (PPGDR - FACCAT), onde também atua como Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa (CNPq) Instituições, Ordenamento Territorial e Políticas Públicas para o Desenvolvimento Regional. Participa como pesquisador dos grupos Estratégias Regionais (Universidade UNILASALLE), Núcleo de Estudos de História da Imigração (Universidade de Passo Fundo - UPF), História das mulheres e estudos de gênero (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS). É coordenador do NIEMI - Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Estudos Migratórios e Identidades, em parceria com universidades do Brasil e do exterior. Coordena os projetos da área de patrimônio cultural, educação patrimonial e gestão do do museu municipal junto à Secretaria de Turismo, Cultura e Desporto da Prefeitura Municipal de Sapiranga (RS). Seu campo de investigação privilegia, atualmente, as questões que envolvem as migrações históricas e contemporâneas, a problemática do patrimônio cultural, da educação patrimonial, da memória, das sensibilidades e da produção dos espaços urbanos. Pesquisa, ainda sobre as representações de raça, etnia e gênero. Tem experiência na área de história, educação e desenvolvimento regional, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: história do Brasil e do Rio Grande do Sul, movimentos migratórios históricos e contemporâneos, movimento Mucker, patrimônio cultural, espaços urbanos, memória, representações e relações de gênero, raça e etnia e processos identitários em contextos migratórios.
