Carlo Rossi Del Carratore

Graduate in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (IB, Botucatu, 1988), a MSc in Animal Science - Animal Production and Nutrition- from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FMVZ, Botucatu, 1993) and a PhD in Aquaculture ( Fish Nutrition and Physiology) by the UNESP Aquaculture Center - Jaboticabal (CAUNESP, 20001). He is currently a professor at the University of Marília, UNIMAR, where he teaches the subjects of Animal Physiology I and II, Ecology, Laboratory Animals, Fish and Rabbit Farming and Poultry, Environmental Sciences and Sustainability, in the courses of Veterinary Medicine and Agronomy. Responsible for the fish farming sector at UNIMAR since 1994 and, since 2003, responsible for the Rabbit and Poultry sectors at UNIMAR, working mainly on the following topics: fish nutrition and physiology, fingerling production, fish diseases, fish nutrition and physiology. poultry and rabbits, poultry and rabbit production, Animal welfare and new production management alternatives. Co-author of a book entitled "Food management in Pintado" (1999). Technical responsible in companies dedicated to the creation of fish in net-tanks; Coordinator of the poultry and rabbit farming area in a partnership between the University of Marília and the Department of Social Welfare of the Marília municipal government (2017). Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (IB, Botucatu,1988), mestrado em Zootecnia - Produção e Nutrição Animal- pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FMVZ, Botucatu,1993) e doutorado em Aquicultura (Nutrição e Fisiologia de peixes) pelo Centro de Aquicultura da UNESP - Jaboticabal (CAUNESP, 20001). Atualmente é professor titular da Universidade de Marília, UNIMAR,onde ministra as disciplinas de Fisiologia Animal I e II, Ecologia, Animais de Laboratório, Piscicultura e Cunicultura e Avicultura , Ciências do Ambiente e Sustentabilidade, nos cursos de Medicina Veterinária e Agronomia . Responsável pelo setor de piscicultura da UNIMAR desde 1994 e, a partir de 2003, responsável pelos setores de Cunicultura e Avicultura da UNIMAR, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: nutrição e fisiologia de peixes, produção de alevinos, doenças de peixes, nutrição e fisiologia de aves e coelhos, produção de aves e coelhos, Bem estar animal e novas alternativas de manejo de produção. Co-autor de livro intitulado "Manejo alimentar em pintados"(1999). Responsável técnico em empresas voltadas para a criação de peixes em tanques -rede; Coordenador da área de avicultura e cunicultura em parceria firmada entre a Universidade de Marília e a Secretaria de Bem Estar Social da prefeitura do municipal de Marília (2017).
