Luiz Alexandre Kulay

Luiz Kulay graduou-se em Engenharia Química pelo Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (1989) e entre 1990-1997, atuou na área de Controle Ambiental e Desenvolvimento de Processos da Suzano de Papel e Celulose (SPC). Tem Mestrado (2000) e Doutorado (2004) em Engenharia Química pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (PQI-EPUSP) e pós-doutorado junto ao Centro de Ecologia Industrial do Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade de Coimbra - Portugal (2014-2016). Em 2020, obteve o título de Livre-Docente também junto ao PQI-EPUSP. Atualmente, é professor MS5 do mesmo departamento. No nível de graduação, estão sob suas responsabilidades as disciplinas de Segurança de Processos da Indústria Química, Cinética Química e Processos Ambientais, e Avaliação de Ciclo de Vida. No mérito de pós-graduação - orienta projetos de níveis mestrado e doutorado junto ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Química (PPEQ-EPUSP). Suas linha de pesquisa levam em conta abordagens nos campos de Avaliação do Ciclo de Vida (ACV); Produção mais Limpa (P+L); Ecologia Industrial; e Gestão Energo-ambiental. Luiz Kulay is graduated in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (1989) and between 1990-1997, he worked in the area of ​​Environmental Control and Process Development at Suzano de Papel e Celulose (SPC). He holds a Master's (2000) and Doctorate (2004) in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (PQI-EPUSP) and a post-doctorate at the Industrial Ecology Center of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra - Portugal (2014- 2016).
