Carmen Helena Barragan Ruiz

Graduation in chemistry, physic, and biology from Surcolombiana University (Colombia,2012) and a licentiate in biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil,2015). Master's in Genetics and Evolution from the Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil,2015) and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Natural Resources from the same university (2020). Possesses detailed experience in conservation biology and significant expertise in molecular tools for conservation projects with NGS technology. Currently, the interest in genetic conservation and molecular ecology is maintained, having as an object of study in Brazilian and Colombian species.
