Fábio Ferreira

Pesquisador Pós doutor em Crítica e Estética Teatral pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - UNIRIO/CNPq. Bacharel em Teoria das Artes Cênicas UNIRIO (1993). Diretor, autor, tradutor e pesquisador teatral. É mestre em Literatura, Cultura e Contemporaneidade/Letras da PUC Rio (2014). Doutor em Literatura, Cultura e Contemporaneidade pela PUC Rio/ Universidade de Copenhagen (2019). Foi professor da PUC Rio/Artes Cênicas e Letras (2009-2018), onde foi Coordenador do Curso de Artes Cênicas (2014-2018) atuando também no Curso de Especialização em Arte e Filosofia, do Departamento de Filosofia, da PUC Rio (2016 - ). Foi professor na UniverCidade (2003-2013), Curso de Formação de Atores, na UFRJ, Curso de Direção Cênica (2004-2006). É diretor da Cia Bufomecanica junto com Claudio Baltar, possui experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em ARTES CÊNICAS, atuando nos seguintes temas: encenação, produção e gestão teatral, performance, dramaturgia moderna e contemporânea e festivais internacional de artes cênicas. Criou os Festivais Rio Cena Contemporânea (1996/2007) e ArtCena Processos de Criação (2008/2011). Foi presidente da RIOARTE, Instituto Municipal de Arte e Cultura-SMC (1993-2003) e da PROJÉTEIS, cooperativa carioca de empreendedores culturais (2008/2015). É curador internacional de artes cênicas desde 1994, atuando nos últimos anos no Projeto Teatro Brasileiro Contemporâneo, do Festival Cena Brasil (2014-2019). Pesquisador do Grupo de Estudos sobre Samuel Beckett, da USP/CNPq. Dirigiu o longa-metragem Vozes do Silêncio_filme não filme (2021) Em 2023 estreou RESTOS NA ESCURIDÃO _ Engenharia Reversa, dirigindo a atriz Carolina Virgüez no Espaço Cultural Sérgio Porto e Na Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim, sua última direção que inclui dezessete peça de teatro e performances.

He was professor at PUC Rio / Performing Arts and Arts (2009-2018), where he was Coordinator of the Performing Arts Course (2014-2018), also working in the Specialization Course in Art and Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, PUC Rio. professor of Theater Production in the MBA of Management and Cultural Production of Candido Mendes University (2003-2019). He was a professor at UniverCidade (2003-2013), Training Course for Actors, at UFRJ, Course of Direction Scenic (2004-2006). He is artistic director of Cia Bufomecanica together with Claudio Baltar. He has experience in Arts, with an emphasis on CINE ARTS, acting in the following subjects: theater production and management, performance, modern and contemporary dramaturgy, contemporary dance and international festival of scenic arts. He created the Festivals Rio Cena Contemporânea (1996/2007) and ArtCena Creation Processes (2008/2011). He was president of RIOARTE, Municipal Institute of Art and Culture-SMC (1993-2003) and PROJÉTEIS, a Rio de Janeiro cultural entrepreneurs cooperative (2008/2015). He has been an international curator of the performing arts since 1994, acting in the last years in the Brazilian Contemporary Theater Project, Cena Cena Brasil Festival (2014-2019).
