Professor at Veterinary Medicine Department, FZEA/USP. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at University of São Paulo (2005) with a period at the University of Montreal (CRRA - Center de Recherche en Reproduction Animale / Faculty of Veterinary Medicine). Master in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Reproduction concentration area (2008) working with genetic modification in animals as models of study. PhD in Sciences, Animal Quality and Productivity area of the University of São Paulo (2013) focusing on the themes of cell reprogramming by gene induction into pluripotency and nuclear transfer, and stem cells in human and animal models. Awarded the CAPES Theses Award in 2014 for the thesis titled Generation of pluripotent cells through gene induction and core transfer: bovine pluripotency acquisition model. Carried out postdoctoral studies at the National Institute of Science and Technology in stem cells and cell therapy and at FZEA / USP with the study of in vitro generation of primordial germ cells and epigenetic reprogramming. Has interests and experience in developmental biology, cell reprogramming by nuclear transfer and gene induction (iPS cells), in vitro animal production and embryology, stem cells, transgenesis (genetic engineering), genetic and epigenetic technology. Full advisor at the Postgraduate Program in Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals (CAPES 7) of FMVZ / USP and advisor for the FCAV / UNESP - Graduate Program in Animal Reproduction. It is responsible for aYoung Researcher FAPESP grant aiming he generation of gametes and new individuals through the in vitro acquisition of pluripotency and epigenetic reprogramming, and for CAPES grant in which main objectives are the study of the pig model in translational medicine. Was responsible for CNPq Universal grant. Participant in several research projects funded by CNPq or FAPESP, including INCTC and CEPID-CTC. Member of SBTE (Brazilian Society for Embryo Technology) organizing committee 2018-2024.

Recebeu o Prêmio CAPES de Teses em 2014 pela autoria da tese intitulada Geração de células pluripotentes através da indução gênica e transferência de núcleo: modelo bovino de aquisição de pluripotência. Realizou pós-doutoramento pelo Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia em Células-tronco e Terapia Celular e na FZEA/USP com o estudo de geração in vitro de células primordiais germinativas e reprogramação epigenética. Atua em biologia do desenvolvimento, reprogramação celular por indução gênica (células iPS), células-tronco, engenharia genética e epigenética, com aplicações na biotecnologia, medicina regenerativa e agropecuária.
