Danilo Pereira Sato

Bacharel em Gestão Ambiental pela Escola de Artes, Ciências e Humanidades da Universidade de São Paulo (EACH-USP) e mestre em Geografia Humana pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas da Universidade de São Paulo (FFLCH-USP). Foi bolsista do projeto Democracia, Artes e Saberes Plurais no qual atuou como supervisor de campo na ação Pontes e Vivências de Saberes e participou no desenvolvimento da página Censo Vizinhança USP. Atualmente doutorando em Geografia Humana pela FFLCH-USP na linha de pesquisa Geografia Política, Planejamento e Recursos Naturais associado ao Laboratório de Geografia Política e realiza o Doutorado Sanduíche de 6 meses no Arbeitsgruppe Entwicklungs- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung (AGEF) da Universität Innsbruck. Também é membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Políticas Públicas, Territorialidades e Sociedade, Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia Política, Políticas Públicas e Multiculturalismo (GEPSIPOLIM), do Grupo de Educação Ambiental Crítica e Grupo de Estudos em Cartografia e Geoprocessamento (GEOCART). Atuação e experiência em planejamento ambiental, geografia política, políticas territoriais e em patrimônio cultural.

He has a degree in Environmental Management from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (EACH-USP) and Master in Human Geography from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP). He was a scholarship holder of the project Democracy, Arts and Plural Knowledges in which he acted as field supervisor in the action Bridges and Experiences of Knowledge and participated in the development of the webpage Censo Vizinhança USP. He is currently a PhD Candidate in Human Geography at FFLCH-USP in the research line Political Geography, Planning and Natural Resources associated with the Political Geography Laboratory and did a 6-month Sandwich Doctorate at the Arbeitsgruppe Entwicklungs- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung (AGEF) of the Universität Innsbruck. He is also a member of the Research Group on Public Policies, Territorialities and Society, the Study and Research Group on Political Psychology, Public Policies and Multiculturalism (GEPSIPOLIM), the Critical Environmental Education Group and the Study Group on Cartography and Geoprocessing (GEOCART). Expertise and experience in environmental planning, political geography, territorial policies and cultural heritage.
