ANALUCIA SCHIAFINO MORALES DE FRANCESCHI

Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Informática pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, PUCRS (1993), mestrado em Ciência da Computação (1996) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, UFSC (2003). Professora efetiva do Departamento de Computação (DEC), Centro de Ciências, Tecnologias e Saúde (CTS) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), desde 2013. Professora permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia de Energia e Sustentabilidade (PPGES) na UFSC, desde 2018. Integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa em Sistemas Inteligentes Aplicados à Saúde (CNPq). Concluiu o pós-doutorado em Sistemas Inteligentes em Saúde, junto ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Tecnologia da Informação e Gestão em Saúde (PPGTIGsaúde) da Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre, UFCSPA (2021). Tem experiência em parcerias de projetos nacionais e internacionais em sistemas inteligentes associados ao desenvolvimento sustentável, em especial, nas áreas de agricultura e de saúde. Áreas de interesse são: IoT aplicado à Saúde, sensores sem fio, Sistemas de Apoio à Decisão, IA Explicável e Sistemas Inteligentes Afetivos. She is an undergraduate in Informatic from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, PUCRS (1993), a Master's degree in Computer Science (1996), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, UFSC (2003). Professor in the Computer Department at UFSC since 2013. And member of the Postgraduate Program in Energy and Sustainability (PPGES). Academic and scientific work reviewer and ad-hoc evaluator projects. Member of the Research Group on Intelligent Systems Applied to Health (CNPq). In 2021, concluded her postdoctoral in Intelligent Health Systems at the Postgraduate Program in Information Technology and Health Management (PPGTIGsaúde) at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre, UFCSPA. Investigating Healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) applied to hospital management issues and evaluation of the new technologies in intelligent decision-support. She has experience in national and international project partnerships in smart systems and IoT applications. Areas of interest are: IoT applied to Healthcare, Sensors and biomarkers, Decision Support Systems, Explainable AI, and Affective intelligent systems.
