Prof. Dr. Silvio Burrattino Melhado

Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EP-USP), Master and PhD in Civil Engineering from EP-USP, he did post-doctoral studies in France (UPMF-Grenoble), Canada (ÉTS-Montréal) and England (Loughborough). He is a Senior Professor in the Department of Civil Construction Engineering at EP-USP, Guest Professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of Pernambuco and Professeur Agrégé at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS-Montréal). He works in the areas of Project Management, Quality Management, Innovation in Civil Construction, Building Information Modelling, Sustainability and Performance, Project Management, Management Systems and Systems Certification. Coordinator of the International Architectural Design and Management Commission (W96) of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB). Former National Coordinator of the "Construction Project Quality" Working Group, Former Coordinator of the "Construction Management and Economy" Group and Former Director of Inter-Institutional Relations at the National Association of Built Environment Technology (ANTAC).

Coordenador da Comissão Internacional Architectural Design and Management (W96) do International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB). Ex-Coordenador Nacional do Grupo de Trabalho "Qualidade do Projeto", Ex-Coordenador do Grupo "Gestão e Economia da Construção" e Ex-Diretor de Relações Inter-Institucionais da Associação Nacional de Tecnologia do Ambiente Construído (ANTAC).
