Nathalia Moraes de Vasconcelos

Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from Universidade de Brasília (2011) and Master's in Molecular Biology from the same institution. She obtained her PhD from Ghent Univeristy (Ghent, Belgium) in 2018, with a research focused on the mechanisms of cell death happening in innate immunity. Currently, she is a post-doctoral researcher at the Francis Crick Institute (London, UK), where she studies how inflammation can be initiated in sterile environments.

É formada em Ciências Biológicas - Bacharelado e Licenciatura - pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB) e Mestre em Biologia Molecular pela mesma universidade. Obteve seu PhD na Ghent University (Gante, Bélgica) em 2018, pesquisando mecanismos de morte celular que ocorrem durante a atividade do sistema imune inato. Atualmente faz pesquisa pós-doutoral no Francis Crick Institute (Londres, Reino Unido), estudando como a inflamaꞔāo pode ser iniciada em contextos estéreis.
