NELSON HEIN

Graduado em Ciências (1987) e em Matemática (1988) pela Universidade Regional de Blumenau - FURB, especialista em Ensino de Ciências / Matemática pela Universidade Regional de Blumenau (1990). Mestrado (1994) e Doutorado (1998) em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Possui Pós-Doutorado pelo IMPA - Associação Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (2003) e pela Anderson School of Management da Universidade do Novo México (EUA), concluído em 2011. É professor do Departamento de Matemática da Universidade Regional de Blumenau desde 1989. É é professor permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Contábeis (PPGCC) da Universidade Regional de Blumenau. Pesquisador Produtividade em Pesquisa (PQ2) desde 2011. É coordenador do DINTER PPGCC/FURB - UFF (Macaé).Coordena o grupo de Estudos MULTIVAR vinculado ao Grupo Español de Decisión Multicrierio (GEDM). É coordenador do Curso de Matemática (2020-2024). Foi presidente da Associação Hospitalar e Educacional de Pomerode (AHEP), no período 2015-2019, vice-presidente da AHEP entre 2019-2023. Eleito presidente da AHEP para o período 2023-2024. Possui experiência em avaliações de curso pelo INEP e pelo Conselho Estadual de Educação de Santa Catarina. Tem experiência na área de Matemática Aplicada, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: análise estatística multivariada e análise decisória multicritério. Leciona no PPGCC-FURB as disciplinas Métodos Quantitativos Aplicados à Contabilidade, Análise Multivariada de Dados e Análise Decisória Multicritério.

Graduated in Science (1987) and Mathematics (1988) from the Regional University of Blumenau - FURB, specialist in Teaching Science / Mathematics from the Regional University of Blumenau (1990). Master (1994) and Doctorate (1998) in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He holds a Postdoctoral degree from IMPA - National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics Association (2003) and the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico (USA), completed in 2011. He has been a professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Regional University of Blumenau since 1989 He is a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Accounting (PPGCC) at the Regional University of Blumenau. Research Productivity (PQ2) since 2011. He is the coordinator of DINTER PPGCC / FURB-UFF (Macaé). He coordinates the MULTIVAR Study Group linked to the Grupo Español de Decisión Multicrierio (GEDM). He is coordinator of the Mathematics Course (2020-2024). He was president of the Pomerode Hospital and Educational Association (AHEP), in the period 2015-2019, vice president of AHEP between 2019-2023. Elected president of AHEP for the period 2023-2024. He has experience in course evaluations by INEP and by the State Board of Education of Santa Catarina. He has experience in Applied Mathematics, working mainly on the following topics: multivariate statistical analysis and multicriteria decision analysis. He teaches at the PPGCC-FURB the disciplines Quantitative Methods Applied to Accounting, Multivariate Data Analysis and Multicriteria Decision Analysis.
