Graduada em Farmácia pela Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas da Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) (2014). Mestre (2016) e Doutora (2020) em Ciências Farmacêuticas pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Farmacêuticas (PPGCF) da UNIFAL-MG, com período de estágio no exterior pelo Programa de Doutorado Sanduíche no Exterior (PDSE) - CAPES (2018/2019) na Università di Bologna (UNIBO), Itália. Pós-doutorado (2020) em um projeto de cooperação da UNIFAL-MG e Instituto Adolfo Lutz sobre ensaios clínicos em COVID-19.
Possui experiência nas áreas de Microbiologia, Biologia Molecular, Metabolômica, Saúde Coletiva e Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos.
É revisora ad-hoc de periódicos tais como: Scientific Reports - Nature (ISSN:2045-2322), Journal of Advances in Microbiology (ISSN:2456-7116), Microbiology Research Journal International (ISSN:2456-7043), International Journal of Tropical Disease & Health (ISSN: 2278-1005), British Journal of Applied Science & Technology (ISSN: 2231-0843).
Durante a graduação foi bolsista FAPEMIG e do Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET-Farmácia) realizando projetos com interface pesquisa, ensino e extensão. Estagiou no laboratório de Controle de Qualidade Microbiológico da Industria Farmacêutica Medley.
She is graduated in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) (2014). Master (2016) and PhD (2020) in Pharmaceutical Sciences by Program of Post-graduation in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPGCF) of UNIFAL-MG. She was international visiting student between 2018 and 2019 at the Università di Bologna (UNIBO), Italy. Post-doctorate (2020) in a cooperation project of UNIFAL-MG and Instituto Adolfo Lutz on clinical trials in COVID-19.
She has experience in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular Biology, MMetabolomics, Collective Health and Food Science and Technology.

During the graduation, she had scholarship of FAPEMIG and of the Tutorial Education Program (PET-Pharmacy), where she was a member of projects with interface research, teaching and extension. Moreover, she was trainee in the Laboratory of Microbiological Quality Control of the Pharmaceutical Industry Medley.
