Yuri Chaves Martins

Yuri Chaves Martins is an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University. He was an anesthesiology resident and chronic pain fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School), internal medicine intern at the New York Medical College (Westchester Medical Center), a post-doctoral researcher at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (NY-USA) and has an MD/PhD degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro School of Medicine. He participated in the Scientific Initiation Program (PIBIC) and the Scientific Vocation Program (PROVOC) of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) and has research experience in immunology, malaria, cerebral malaria and murine models of malaria.

Yuri Chaves Martins é Professor Assistente de anestesiologia e dor crônica da Saint Louis University. Yuri foi residente de anestesiologia e fellow em dor crônica do Massachusetts General Hospital, afiliado à Harvard Medical School, interno de medicina interna do New York Medical College (Westchester Medical Center) em Nova York, pos-doutorando do Albert Einstein College of Medicine (NY-USA) e aluno do programa MD/PhD da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Yuri também participou do Programa de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC) e do Programa de Vocação Científica (PROVOC) da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz e tem experiência nas áreas de dor crônica, anestesiologia e Imunologia, com ênfase em Imunologia da malária.
