Marcos Roberto Martines

I completed my undergraduate studies in Geography at the University of São Paulo in 1998, followed by a Master's degree in Geography from the same institution in 2005. Subsequently, I attained a Ph.D. in Physical Geography from the University of São Paulo in 2011. My professional background encompasses Geosciences, with a primary focus on topics such as geoprocessing, cartography, remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and environmental analysis.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of São Paulo (1998), along with a Master's degree in Geography (Human Geography) from the same institution (2005), and a Ph.D. in Geography (Physical Geography) also from the University of São Paulo (2011). My expertise lies in Cartography and Geosciences, with a particular focus on Geoprocessing. My primary research interests encompass a range of topics including Geoprocessing, Environmental Diagnosis and Analysis, Cartographic Modeling, Map Algebra, Spatial Statistics, Geographic Database, and Remote Sensing. Over the years, I have actively participated in various projects. Currently, I am serving as a researcher and professor at the Federal University of São Carlos.
