Linda Ohler is the transplant clinical quality/regulatory manager at the George Washington University Hospital.With 24 years experience in transplantation, Linda has served as a clinical transplant coordinator in heart and lung transplantation and VAD coordinator for 12 years at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She also served as a clinical nurse specialist and nurse manager in kidney, pancreas and islet cell transplantation at the National Institutes of Health (NIDDK) for three years.Prior to joining The George Washington University Hospital, Linda served as the Director of Quality at Georgetown University?s Transplant Institute. She has also served as the Program Manager for VCU?s heart, VAD and Total Artificial Heart Programs where she developed QAPI programs for transplantation and VADs.Linda has published four books on transplantation for nurses and is the Editor in Chief of Progress in Transplantation a peer reviewed, multidisciplinary journal for transplant clinicians. She is currently on the planning committees for the World Transplant Congress and American Transplant Congress.
