Possui graduação em Medicina (83-88) e residência em Pediatria (89-90) pela Escola Paulista de Medicina - Universidade Federal de São Paulo, especialização em Onco-hematologia Pediátrica (91-92) no Centro Infantil Boldrini e especialização em Transplante de Medula Óssea na Universidade de MInnesota (93-94) e Johns Hopkins Oncology Center (94-97). Tem mestrado em Pediatria e Ciências aplicadas à Pediatria pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2000) e título de especialista em Pediatria e Hematologia e Hemoterapia com áreas de atuação em Oncologia Pediátrica, Hematologia Pediátrica e Transplante de Medula Óssea.
Foi Vice-Presidente para América do Sul e Central da International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT, eleita, 04-07), coordenadora do Comitê de TMO em Pediatria da SOBOPE/SBTMO (eleita, 02-04, 04-08), coordenadora do Centro Transplante de Medula Óssea do Instituto de Oncologia Pediátrica - GRAACC - UNIFESP (99-13), co-chair do Pediatric Cancer Working Committee do CIBMTR - Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (eleita, 10-13), presidente do Grupo de Trabalho de Transplante de Medula Óssea em Pediatria da Sociedade Brasileira de Transplante de Medula (SBTMO)/Sociedade Brasileira de Oncologia Pediátrica (SOBOPE) (eleita, 13-15), secretária interina da LABMT - Latin American Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (12-13) e Presidente da LABMT (eleita, 13-15), tesoureira da WBMT (Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation; 2016-2022) e secretária da diretoria da Sociedade Brasileira de Transplante de Medula Óssea - SBTMO (eleita 2016-2019; 2019-2021).
É vice-presidente da SBTMO (2021-2024), membro do Comitê de Hematologia Pediátrica da Associação Brasileira de Hematologia e Hemoterapia e Terapia Celular (ABHH; desde 2012), da Sociedade de Pediatria de São Paulo (SPSP; desde 2014), do Grupo de TMO Pediatrico SBTMO/Sobope. É co-chair do Comitê Educacional do WBMT (Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (2022-2024). É médica coordenadora da equipe de TMO Pediátrico nos Hospitais Samaritano e Graacc, São Paulo e diretora voluntária da Associação da Medula Óssea do Estado de São Paulo - AMEO.
Tem experiência e atua desde 1993 na área de Transplante de Medula Óssea em Pediatria.

He has a Masters degree in Pediatrics and Applied Sciences in Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (2000) and is an specialist in Pediatric Cancerology, Pediatric Hematology, Hematology and Hemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
He was Vice-President for South and Central America of the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT, elected, 04-07), coordinator of the Pediatric BMT Committee of the SOBOPE/SBTMO (elected, 02-04, 04-08), coordinator of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center of the Institute of Pediatric Oncology - GRAACC - UNIFESP (99-13), co-chair of the Pediatric Cancer Working Committee of The CIBMTR - International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (elected, 10-13), President of the Working Group on Bone Marrow Transplantation in Pediatrics of the Brazilian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation (SBTMO)/Brazilian Society of Pediatric Oncology (SOBOPE) (elected, 13-15), interim secretary of LABMT - Latin American Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (12-13) and President of LABMT (elected, 13-15), treasurer of WBMT (Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation; 2016-2022) and secretary of the Brazilian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation - SBTMO (elected 2016-2019; 2019-2021).
He is vice-president of SBTMO (2021-2024), member of the Pediatric Hematology Committee of the Brazilian Association of Hematology and Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy (ABHH; since 2012), of the Society of Pediatrics of São Paulo (SPSP; since 2014), of the Pediatric BMT Group SBTMO/Sobope. He is co-chair of the WBMT (Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation) Educational Committee (2022-2024). She is the medical coordinator of the Pediatric BMT team at Samaritano and Graacc Hospitals, São Paulo and volunteer director of the Bone Marrow Association of the State of São Paulo - AMEO.
She has experience and has been working since 1993 in the field of Bone Marrow Transplantation in Pediatrics.
