Jeane Quintanilha Chaves

It has a PhD in Pharmacy from the Fluminense Federal University (1990), a Masters in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2004) and a PhD in Biodiversity and Health (2015) from Instituto Oswaldo Cruz / FIOCRUZ - RJ. It was a collaborator / technologist - senior level of the Laboratory of Bacterial Physiology. It has experience in the area of Microbiology, with emphasis on Isolation, Biochemical and Molecular Identification of Entomopathogenic Lineages of the Bacillus Genus and Related Genus, working mainly on the following topics: Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus Genus and members of the Bacillus cereus lato sensu Group.It has published 14 articles in specialized journals and 25 papers in annals of events.

Possui graduação em Farmácia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1990), Mestrado em Biologia Celular e Molecular (2004) e Doutorado em Biodiversidade e Saúde (2015) pelo Instituto Oswaldo Cruz / FIOCRUZ - RJ. Foi colaborador/tecnologista - nível superior do Laboratório de Fisiologia Bacteriana. Tem experiência na área de Microbiologia, com ênfase em Isolamento, Identificação Bioquímica e Molecular de Linhagens Entomopatogênicas do Gênero Bacillus e Gêneros Correlatos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Bacillus thuringiensis, Gênero Bacillus e membros do Grupo Bacillus cereus lato sensu. Publicou 14 artigos em periódicos especializados e 25 trabalhos em anais de eventos.
