Thiago Costa de Paiva

Thiago Paiva is an electronic engineer working at São Paulo Research and Analysis Center (SPRACE), research group established at UNESP (São Paulo State University) with focus in high energy physicists and participation on Fermilab and CERN (CMS) projects. Before, he worked for Ultrassound Laboratory at USP (University of São Paulo) designing low power consumption autonomous and high performance data acquisition FPGA-based systems. In the lasts years of under-graduating period, he specialized in the manufacture of MOEMS (micro optical electro mechanical systems) using microelectronic processing techniques.
Thiago is a master in electrical engineering graduated at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) and an electronic engineer working at the Physics Department of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, contributing with High Energy Physics (HEP) projects for the ATLAS experiment (CERN). Previously, he worked at the Center for Scientific Computing (NCC), research group established at UNESP (São Paulo State University - Brazil) also with focus on HEP and participation at Fermilab and CMS (CERN) projects. Before, he worked for the Ultrasound Laboratory at University of São Paulo (USP) designing autonomous, low power consumption and high performance data acquisition FPGA-based systems. In the lasts years of under-graduating period at Polytechnic School of USP, he specialized in the manufacture of MOEMS (micro-optical-electro-mechanical systems) using microelectronic processing techniques.
