Silvia Ferreira Santos Wolff

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1979), Master in Architecture and Urbanism from University of São Paulo (1992) and PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from University of São Paulo (1997), both in the area of concentration of History and Fundamentals of Architecture and Urbanism. Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2017 on subjects related to the themes of Preservation of Cultural Heritage and History of Architecture and Urbanism. Retired since 2019 from the position of effective architect at the Public Heritage Preservation Unit of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, where she joined in 1982 and developed studies related to the preservation of cultural heritage mainly in the areas of research, identification, establishment of criteria and analysis of architectural intervention in officially preserved cultural heritage. She has didactic experience in courses in the areas of architectural in this specific fields of her professional practice, such as preservation of the architecture and official architecture of the State, urbanism of garden neighborhoods and residential architecture, themes of her master's and doctorate, both works published by the University of São Paulo, " Escolas para a Republica,", 2010 e Jardim America, 2001, 2015. . She has worked mainly in the areas of 19th Century Architecture, Modern Architecture, Public and Institutional Architecture, in addition to Intervention Policies in cultural heritage. Possui graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1979), Mestrado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de São Paulo (1992) e doutorado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de São Paulo (1997), ambas na área de concentração de História e Fundamentos da Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Docente e pesquisadora da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie a partir de 2017 em disciplinas ligadas aos temas de Preservação do Patrimônio Cultural e História da Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Atuou como arquiteta efetiva concursada da Unidade de Preservação do Patrimônio Histórico da Secretaria da Cultura do Estado de São Paulo, (1982-2021) onde desenvolveu estudos relacionados à preservação do patrimônio cultural. Fundamentalmente nas áreas de pesquisa, identificação, estabelecimento de critérios e análise e orientação de intervenções arquitetônicas e urbanísticas em bens culturais Tem experiência didática em graduação e especialização nas áreas de história da arquitetura e urbanismo e em preservação do patrimônio culural. Realiza pesquisas e presta consultoria em torno dos temas de sua prática profissional, como preservação da arquitetura e arquitetura oficial de aparelhamento do Estado, urbanismo de bairros jardins e arquitetura residencial, temas de seu mestrado e doutorado. Dentre outras publicações da autora, destacam-se pela editora da Universidade de São Paulo, Edusp: "Jardim América, o primeiro bairro-jardim de São Paulo e sua arquitetura", 2001, 2015 9 2ª ed. e de "Escolas para a República", 2010, relativas aos trabalhos defendidos na pós-graduação da mesma universidade. Tem atuado sobretudo áreas de História da Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Arquitetura Residencial, Pública e Institucional, além de Políticas de Intervenção em bens reconhecidos como patrimônio cultural.
