Marcelle Pacheco Soares

Doutoranda em Ciências da Literatura pela UFRJ, Marcelle Pacheco Soares é Mestre em Estudos de Gênero pela Université Paris 8 - Vincennes-Saint-Denis (2019), onde analisou a construção das personagens Mulher-Maravilha e Miss Marvel nos quadrinhos durante a Segunda Onda do Feminismo. É também especialista em Jornalismo Cultural pela Uerj (2015) e bacharel em Jornalismo pela PUC-Rio (2013). Atua em pesquisas na área da representação nas mulheres na cultura, gênero e teoria literária. É integrante do Outrarte: psicanálise entre ciência e arte, do Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Possui cinco anos de experiência como jornalista, atuando especialmente com política, movimentos sociais e políticas públicas. Foi uma das organizadoras e apresentadoras do evento "Sortir les Femmes de L'Ombre", realizado em Paris em 2019, discutindo as mulheres na arte. Atua também como professora, com experiência em aulas online. É também mediadora de inglês à distância para o Pré-Vestibular Social da Fundação Cecierj, onde produz exercícios, vídeo-aulas, simulados e materiais de orientações acadêmicas especiais. Possui diploma DALF C1 em Língua Francesa e a certificação em inglês de Cambridge - Certificate in Advanced English (CAE - C1). Como doutoranda na UFRJ, é bolsista do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) e foi selecionada para a bolsa FAPERJ Nota 10.

Marcelle Pacheco Soares is a phD student in Literature (UFRJ) and has a Master's Degree in Gender Studies from Université Paris 8 - Vincennes-Saint-Denis (2019). Her final work analyzed the construction of the characters Wonder Woman and Ms. Marvel in the comics during the Second Wave of Feminism (1960-1980). She is also a specialist in Cultural Journalism (Uerj/2015) and has a major degree in Journalism (PUC-Rio/2013). Marcelle studies the ​​representation of women in culture, feminism, and narrative. She presented, at the National Communication Congress Intercom 2017, her research about the narrative of Netflix TV series; and will be one of the participants in the International Seminar Fazendo Gênero 12, where she will present her master's research. She has five years of experience as a journalist, working with politics, social movements, and public policies. Combining her work as a journalist and her research about women, feminism, and culture, Marcelle was one of the organizers and presenters of the event "Sortir Les Femmes de L'Ombre", held in Paris in 2019, discussing women in art. She also works as a teacher, with experience in online classes. Marcelle is also a distance English mediator for the Pré-Vestibular Social (PVS) da Fundação Cecierj, where she produces exercises, video lessons, mock tests, and special academic guidance materials. She has a DALF C1 diploma in French and is fluent in English.
