Jeremy Andrew Squire

Graduado pela University of London, UK, com mestrado em Genética e doutorado em Biofísica Médica pela University of Toronto. Pós-doutorado Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, UK (1988). Foi diretor do Patologia Molecular no Sick Children Hospital em Toronto (1989-1997) e Princess Margaret Hospital (1997-2008). Professor titular em 2001. Professor no Departamento de Patologia na Queen's University, em Kingston, Canada e Diretor do Laboratório de Pesquisa Translacional, NCIC ? Grupo de Ensaios Clínicos (2008-13). Foi professor visitante no Hospital do Cancer de São Paulo (AC Camargo) no periodo 2006/2007 e no Hospital do Cancer de Barretos em 2011. Atualmente é Professor Doutor no Departamento de Genética da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo, onde também desenvolve projeto em colaboração com os Departamentos de Patologia e Cirurgia. Graduated from the University of London, UK, with a Masters in Genetics and a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto. Postdoc at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, UK (1988). Was director of Molecular Pathology, Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (1989-1997). Professor in 2001 in the Department of Pathology at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and Director of the Laboratory of Translational Research, NCIC - Clinical Trials Group (2008-13). He was visiting professor at the Cancer Hospital of São Paulo (AC Camargo) in the period 2006-2007 and of Barretos Cancer Hospital in 2011 is currently a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, where he also developed a project in collaboration with the Departments of Genetics and Surgery. The current research projects involve investigation of the PTEN gene in prostate cancer and genomic analyzes in gliobalstoma and ovarian cancer. Research Productivity Grant Level PQ-1B.
