Paulo Henrique Sousa Dantas

Doutorando em Educação pela Universidade Nacional de Rosário - ARG, Mestre em Educação pelo programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPGED), da Universidade Federal do Piauí, UFPI (2019-2021), Especialista em Música pela Faculdade Alfamérica (2018), Licenciado em Música pela Universidade Federal do Piauí, UFPI (2010-2014), e Licenciando em Pedagogia pela Faculdade Estácio (2022). Músico, professor, baixista elétrico e acústico, compositor, arranjador, produtor musical, executivo, designer gráfico e empresário. Na área da performance, composição, arranjo e interpretação musical, lançou sete produções fonográficas: os CDs "Onde tudo começou" (2011) e "Arranha céu" (2014), os DVD/CD's "Os cabras da América" (2017) e "Jam Session" (2022), e os singles "Intocável" (2020), "The Real Feeling" (2021), e "O mesmo é o outro"(2023). Na área da Educação musical, lançou os livros "Estudando Baixo Elétrico - volume 1" (2016), "Circulação dos Saberes Jazzísticos em Teresina" (2022), além de ter artigos publicados em revistas científicas e Anais de Congressos acadêmicos. Desde 2004, é professor da Escola Estadual de Música Possidônio Queiroz, das disciplinas baixo elétrico, baixo acústico, violão popular, teoria musical e harmonia e improvisação, assumindo, em 2014, a função de Coordenador adjunto e pedagógico da instituição, cargo ao qual exerce até o momento. Em 2015, foi professor das disciplinas, "Fundamentos da Música aplicados a dança" I e II na escola Balé de Teresina, e em 2017, atuou como professor de música no projeto de ressocialização da Penitenciária Feminina de Teresina. Como músico (sidemam), acompanha e produz vários artistas em shows e gravações de CDs e DVDs no Brasil e no exterior, além de atuar como produtor musical, executivo, organizador e curador de festivais de música. No viés da composição e arranjo, cria e desenvolve trilhas para espetáculos de dança, teatro, além de hinos e spots para rádio e televisão. Como gestor público, atuou na Prefeitura Municipal de Teresina pela Fundação Monsenhor Chaves - FMC, em 2019 como Gerente de Promoção Artística Cultural do município de Teresina, e em 2020 como Superintendente Executivo. Atualmente, também exerce a função de tutor/mediador do curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão - UEMA, professor substituto de Artes do Instituto Federal do Maranhão (IFMA) campus Coelho Neto, e é proprietário da empresa/produtora "The Produz", situada na cidade de Teresina-PI.

In the area of #8203;#8203;performance, composition, arrangement and musical interpretation, he has released seven phonographic productions: the CDs "Where it all started" (2011) and "Arranha Céu" (2014), the DVD/CD's "Os Cabras da América" #8203;#8203;(2017) and "Jam Session" (2022), and the singles "Untouchable" (2020), "The Real Feeling" (2021), and "The Same Is the Other" (2023). In the area of #8203;#8203;music education, he launched the books "Studying Electric Bass - volume 1" (2016), "Circulação dos Saberes Jazzísticos em Teresina" (2022), in addition to having articles published in scientific journals and Annals of academic Congresses. Since 2004, he has been a professor at the Possidônio Queiroz State School of Music, in the disciplines of electric bass, acoustic bass, popular guitar, music theory and harmony and improvisation, assuming, in 2014, the role of Assistant and Pedagogical Coordinator of the institution, a position he holds until now. In 2015, he was professor of the subjects, "Fundamentals of Music applied to dance" I and II at the Balé de Teresina school, and in 2017, he acted as music teacher in the resocialization project of the Teresina Women's Penitentiary. As a musician (sideman), he accompanies and produces several artists in concerts and CD and DVD recordings in Brazil and abroad, in addition to acting as a music producer, executive, organizer and curator of music festivals. In terms of composition and arrangement, he creates and develops tracks for dance and theater shows, as well as hymns and spots for radio and television. As a public manager, he served in the Municipality of Teresina for the Monsenhor Chaves Foundation - FMC, in 2019 as Cultural Artistic Promotion Manager of the municipality of Teresina, and in 2020 as Executive Superintendent. Currently, he also works as a tutor/mediator of the Degree in Music at the State University of Maranhão - UEMA, substitute professor of Arts at the Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA) Coelho Neto campus, and is the owner of the company/producer "The Produz ", located in the city of Teresina-PI.
