Luiz Henrique Sielski de Oliveira

Oceanographer, Master in Coastal and Oceanic Systems (2008) and PhD in Environmental Geology (2015) by the Federal University of Paraná. I have experience in geoprocessing, coastal management, geological oceanography, marine geophysics and sedimentary dynamics of coastal environments and oceanic islands. I participated in four scientific expeditions to Trindade Island coordinating and executing field activities. My specialties include the mapping of inland continental platforms and island platforms, Quaternary evolution of coastal environments and coastal geological hazards. I have as main research objective the sedimentary dynamics of shallow marine environments, its Quaternary evolution and relations with the coastal systems. My special interest is focused on the evolution and dynamics of inland continental shelves and their interactions with sandy beaches.

Oceanógrafo, mestre em Sistemas Costeiros e Oceânicos (2008) e doutor em Geologia Ambiental (2015) pela Universidade Federal do Paraná. Possuo experiência em geoprocessamento, gerenciamento costeiro, oceanografia geológica, geofísica marinha e dinâmica sedimentar de ambientes costeiros e ilhas oceânicas. Participei de quatro expedições científicas à Ilha da Trindade coordenando e executando as atividades de campo. Minhas especialidades incluem o mapeamento de plataformas continentais internas e plataformas insulares, evolução quaternária dos ambientes costeiros e riscos geológicos costeiros. Tenho como principal objetivo de pesquisa a dinâmica sedimentar de ambientes marinhos rasos, sua evolução quaternária e relações com os sistemas costeiros. Meu interesse especial está focado na evolução e dinâmica de plataformas continentais internas e suas interações com as praias arenosas.
