Anand Ramesh Sanadi

Prof. Sanadi is an Associate Professor, Biomass Science & Technology Group, IGN, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. He has a PhD is Material Science and Engineering from Washington State University, USA. He is primarily involved in research associated with the material science of biomass and wood materials, polymer composites, wood/agrofiber composites, interface and adhesion and stress transfer, surfaces-coatings-adhesives in wood and biomass and its composites, bio-energy issues related to materials, cellulose nanofibers, wood coatings, thermal transitions (Tg, etc) in wood, lignocellulosic fibers, and composites, fracture mechanism and mechanical properties of wood and plant fiber composites. He is a reviewer for many peer reviewed journals and also has evaluated proposals for the USDA and other entities.
