Eduardo Pimentel Pizarro

Doutor em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de São Paulo (2019), com estágio de pesquisa na ETH Zurich (2017), ambos com bolsa FAPESP. Mestre em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de São Paulo (2014), com estágio de pesquisa na Architectural Association Graduate School, AA, Londres (2013), ambos com bolsa FAPESP. Arquiteto e urbanista graduado pela Universidade de São Paulo (2012), como o primeiro classificado. Assessor de Relações Internacionais, Pesquisa e Formação no Conselho de Arquitetura e Urbanismo de São Paulo, CAU/SP. Professor de Conforto Ambiental e Projeto Urbano na Universidade São Judas Tadeu. Ganhador de prêmios nacionais e internacionais como: Prêmio Jovem Cientista, promovido pelo CNPq, Fundação Roberto Marinho, Gerdau e GE, e entregue pelo Presidente da República (Brasília, 2012); 1st Prize na LafargeHolcim Forum Student Poster Competition (Detroit, 2016); Lafarge Holcim Awards por "outstanding creativity and contribution to sustainable construction" (Cairo, 2016); "Most Innovative Design Award" conferido pelo PLEA (Hong Kong, 2018); 1o lugar no Concurso São Paulo Áreas 40 - Brás, promovido pelo WRI Brasil e Bloomberg Initiative (São Paulo, 2016); Prêmio Inovadores Urbanos, promovido pela Minha Sampa e São Paulo Lab (São Paulo, 2015); Menção Honrosa da International Union of Architects (UIA) na Molewa International Competition (Beijing, 2015); finalista do Urban Urge Award, Mojdeh Baratloo e Columbia University (Nova Iorque, 2014). Pizarro é Embaixador da Latitudes Global Network (University of Westminster, Londres, 2014-18), Embaixador do LafargeHolcim Awards (Zurique, 2016-2021) e Research Fellow da CAJU Initiave (Harvard University, USP). Publicou o livreto "6 pages" na ETH Zurich (2017). Foi curador da Latitudes Global Exhibition (Ahmedabad, Londres, São Paulo e Chenai, 2018) e da exposição Cidade Vivida | Cidade Sonhada (Tenda Cultural Ortega y Gasset da USP, São Paulo, 2014), além de apresentar uma série de projetos e ações na 11a e 12a Bienal de Arquitetura de São Paulo (2017/2019).

Pizarro holds a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Sao Paulo (FAUUSP, 2019), including a Research Internship at the ETH Zurich (2017), both supported by the Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Pizarro holds a Master Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo, 2014), including a Research Internship at the Architectural Association Graduate School (London, 2013), both with FAPESP scholarship. Architect and urban designer undergraduated as the first ranked from the University of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo, 2012). International Relations, Education and Training Advisor at Sao Paulo Council of Architecture and Urbanism, CAU/SP. Pizarro was granted several national and international awards as: Young Scientist Award, granted by the President of Brazil on behalf of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (Brasilia, 2012); 1st Prize in the LafargeHolcim Forum Student Poster Competition (Detroit, 2016); Lafarge Holcim Awards special recognition for "outstanding creativity and contribution to sustainable construction" (Cairo, 2016); "Most Innovative Design Award" granted by PLEA (Hong Kong, 2018); 1st Prize in the Sao Paulo 40 Competition, promoted by WRI Brazil and Bloomberg Initiative (Sao Paulo, 2016);Urban Innovators Award (Sao Paulo, 2016); Honorable Mention from the Hua Yan Group and the International Union of Architects (Beijing, 2015); Urban Urge Awards finalist (New York, 2014). Moreover, Pizarro is Brazilian Ambassador of both the LafargeHolcim Awards (Zurich, 2016-18) and the Latitudes Network (University of Westminster, London, 2015-18). He is Research Fellow at the CAJU Initiative (Cambridge, Sao Paulo, 2015), have published articles and projects in specialized magazines around the world as the Urban Design Journal (London), Archdaily Brazil and Paisagem e Ambiente FAUUSP, besides presenting his projects at the 11th and 12th Sao Paulo Architecture Biennial (2017/2019).
