Ruan Carlos de Mesquita Oliveira

He holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Ceará (2013), specialization in plant protection at the Federal University of Viçosa (2016), and a PhD in Plant Technology / Agronomy from the UFC (2017). He has already performed the activity of monitor of the Basic Statistics discipline from 2009 to 2010, and later FUNCAP (2010-2011) and CNPQ (2011-2012 and 2013-2013), located in the Department of Agricultural Economics, was also an exchange student (CAPES / FIPSE) (2012), studying for a semester at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in the state of Florida / USA. He is currently PhD student in Plant Technology / Entomology and Director of IN Soluções Biológicas. He has experience in the areas of chemical control, biological control, flower production and ornamental plants.

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2013), especialização em Proteção de Plantas pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2016), Mestre em Fitotecnia/Agronomia pela UFC (2017) e atualmente é Doutorando em Fitotecnia/Agronomia pela UFC. Durante a graduação foi bolsista de intercâmbio acadêmico pelo convênio CAPES/FIPSE (2012), estudando durante um semestre na Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) no estado da Flórida/EUA. Atualmente é aluno de doutorado em Fitotecnia/Entomologia pela Universidade Federal do Ceará e foi aluno de doutorado sanduiche na University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, desenvolvendo pesquisa com modelagem de pragas agrícolas. Atualmente é Diretor Comercial na empresa IN Soluções Biológicas e representante estudantil no grupo de pesquisa International Pest Risk Research Group (IPRRG). Tem experiências nas áreas de ecologia de insetos, modelagem de pragas e controle biológico.
