Psicóloga com formação em Teoria Psicanalítica, Doutora em História da Cultura pela École Pratique des Hautes Etudes - EPHE Sorbonne, Paris, sob orientação do Prof. Jacques Le Rider, historiador e germanista, e Mestre em História Social pela FFLCH/Universidade de São Paulo (2001), sob orientação do Prof. Francisco Murari Pires. Na área da Psicologia, trabalha desde 1993 com a prática clínica psicoterapêutica de linha psicanalítica, no atendimento a adultos e adolescentes. Na área de Psicanálise e Educação, desenvolve seu trabalho com foco nas relações sociais e dificuldades de aprendizagem; desenvolvimento da personalidade; psicanálise; complexo de Édipo; Totem e Tabu; Interpretação dos Sonhos; teoria psicanalítica. Na área de História , desenvolve sua pesquisa associando conceitos psicanalíticos à área da história social e historiografia, atuando nas seguintes áreas: antiguidade, mitologia grega, sonhos e representações, filologia e historiografia alemãs, teoria da História, século XIX, Leopold von Ranke, Gustav Droysen, Barthold Niehbur, Sigmund Freud.

In the field of Psychoanalysis and Education, the focus of her work is on social relationships and learning difficulties; personality development; psychoanalysis; Oedipus complex; Totem and Taboo; Interpretation of Dreams; psychoanalytic theory. In the ​History Department, the research theme is the associating psychoanalytic concepts with the area of ​​social history and historiography, working in the following areas: antiquity, Greek mythology, dreams and representations, German philology and historiography, theory of History, 19th century, Leopold von Ranke, Gustav Droysen, Barthold Niehbur, Sigmund Freud.
