Rodrigo Rodrigues Cambraia de Miranda

Assistant Professor at the Department of Parasitology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBIM) at the Federal University of Uberlância - UFU and coordinator of LADEC (Laboratory for Diagnosis, Epidemiology and Control of Helminths). Degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He holds a master's and doctorate from the Graduate Program in Parasitology at UFMG with a CNPq doctoral scholarship to Oregon State University (OSU), United States. Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Parasitology, McGill University, Canada and at the Department of Parasitology at UFMG. Works in the area of #8203;#8203;Helminthology with parasites that cause geohelminthiasis, evaluating the action of bioactive compounds with anthelmintic properties, diagnosis and immune response against geohelminths.

Atua na área de Helmintologia com diagnóstico, epidemiologia e resposta imune aos agentes causadores de doenças negligenciadas (geohelmintíases) e zoonoses helmínticas (toxocaríase humana).
