Denise Sella Fonseca

Master in Social History from the University of São Paulo and author of the book Colcha de Retalhos. Music on stage in the city of São Paulo. Working as a researcher and teacher, with experience mainly in the areas of Brazilian History and Popular Culture. Since his scientific initiation, always with the support of Fapesp, she has researched the formation of an urban popular culture, in which music and musical theater had a prominent place. In recent years, she has been taking courses in the area of ​​psychoanalysis, literature and culture, especially interested in themes that emerged in her master's research, such as gender issues, feminisms, the interface between art, history and psychoanalysis, body and culture, among others.

Atuação como pesquisadora e professora, com experiência principalmente nas áreas de História do Brasil e Cultura Popular. Desde a iniciação científica, sempre com apoio da Fapesp, pesquisa a formação de uma cultura popular urbana, em que a música e o teatro musicado tiveram lugar de destaque. Nos últimos anos, vem fazendo cursos na área de psicanálise, literatura e cultura, interessada especialmente em temáticas que emergiram na pesquisa de mestrado, tais como questões de gênero, feminismos, interface entre arte, história e psicanálise, corpo e cultura, entre outros.
