He is currently a productivity fellow at cnpq - level 2 at CNPq, professor of higher education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, vice-coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Geodynamics and Geophysics at UFRN (PPGG/UFRN) and teaches disciplines in Sedimentary and Marine Geology and Geophysics. Atualmente é bolsista de produtividade do cnpq - nível 2 do CNPq, professor de magistério superior da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, vice-coordenador da Pós-Graduação em Geodinâmica e Geofísica da UFRN (PPGG/UFRN) e leciona disciplinas de Terrenos Sedimentares, Geologia e Geofísica Marinha.
