Lígia Albuquerque de Melo

Possui graduação em Ciências Econômicas pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1976), mestrado em Administração Rural e Comunicação Rural pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (1997) e doutorado em Sociologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2003). É Pesquisadora Titular da Fundação Joaquim Nabuco. Tem experiência na área de Sociologia, com ênfase em Sociologia Rural, atuando nos seguintes enfoques: gênero, feminismo e mulher trabalhadora. As temáticas pesquisados estão relacionadas ao mundo rural, trabalho, recursos hídricos, pesca artesanal, ambiente e sustentabilidade, dentre outros principalmente da região semiárida brasileira. Realiza desde 2008 Oficinas e Mini Cursos com as mulheres a partir das pesquisas realizadas. É membro da Câmara Técnica-Científico das Diretorias de Memória, Norte e Nordeste de Pesquisas e Estudos sobre a Mulher e Relações de Gênero - Redor, desde 1997. Participa do Seminário Internacional Fazendo Gênero. É membro individual da WATERLAT-GOBACIT, desde 2008. A rede é inter- e transdisciplinar de ensino, pesquisa e intervenção prática no campo da política e da gestão da água e dos serviços baseados no uso da água. Membro do Comitê da Pesca Artesanal da Secretaria de Meio Ambiente do estado de Pernambuco ?SEMAS- PE. Participa das discussões da Articulação de Mulheres Pescadoras - AMP. Presta consultoria á Associação de Pescadoras e Pescadores de Curralinhos - Juazeiro/BA.

She has a Bachelor's of Economic Sciences at Federal University of Pernambuco (1976), a master's degree of Rural Administration and Rural Communication at Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1997) and a doctorate in Sociology at Federal University of Pernambuco (2003). She is a Full Researcher at Fundação Joaquim Nabuco. She has experience in the area of Sociology, with emphasis in Rural Sociology, working in the following areas: gender, feminism and working women. The themes researched are related to the rural world, work, water resources, artisanal fishing, environment and sustainability, among others, mainly in the Brazilian semi-arid region. Since 2008 it has been conducting Workshops and Mini Courses with women based on the research conducted. He is a member of the Technical and Scientific Chamber of the Memory, North and Northeast Directorates of Research and Studies on Women and Gender Relations - Redor, since 1997. Participation in the International Seminar on Gender. She is an individual member of WATERLAT-GOBACIT, since 2008. The network is inter- and transdisciplinary in teaching, research and practical intervention in the field of water policy and management and water-based services. Member of the Committee of Artisanal Fisheries of the Secretary of Environment of the State of Pernambuco -SEMAS- PE. Participates in the discussions of the Articulation of Fishing Women - AMP. Provides consulting services to the Association of Fisherwomen and Fishermen of Curralinhos - Juazeiro/BA.
