Recém-doutorado em Engenharia Biomédica pela Universidade do Minho, tendo desenvolvido o trabalho no Center of MicroElectroMechanical Systems (CMEMS-Uminho) e o Centro de Engenharia Biológica (CEB-Uminho) em colaboração com a Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU-IBB) no Japão, o Instituto Nacional de Metrologia, Qualidade e Tecnologia (INMETRO) no Rio de Janeiro e a Faculdade de Ciências da UNESP de Bauru.
