Mestre em Ciências Biológicas (UNIGRANRIO-INMETRO-UEZO); Pós-graduado em Fisiologia do Exercício e Treinamento Desportivo (UCB) Graduado em Fisioterapia (IBMR) e graduado em Educação Física (UGF) Coordenador do curso de Fisioterapia CBM-UNICBE. Professor universitário CBM-UNICBE. Membro do Laboratório de Neurociência do Exercício (LANEX UFRJ), atuando em pesquisa sobre efeito de diferentes tipos de treinamento na saúde física e mental de idosos e idosos institucionalizados e biomarcadores na doença de Alzheimer. Tem experiência na área de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional, com ênfase em Envelhecimento , atuando principalmente no seguinte tema: fisioterapia.
