Michel Aguena da Silva

Possui graduação em Bachrelado em Física - Habilitação em Astronomia (2009), mestrado em Física (2012) e doutorado em Física pela Universidade de São Paulo (2017). Realizou um pos-doutorado no Laboratório Interinstitucional de e-Astronomia (LIneA) focado no desenvolvimento do portal científico (75% do tempo com trabalho técnico e 25% para ciência). Realiza pos-doutorado no Laboratoire d'Annecy De Physique Des Particules (LAPP). É membros das colaborações internacionais Dark Energy Survey (DES, com posição de builder) e Vera Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST, full member da Dark Energy Science Collaboration - DESC) e membro fundador da associação do LIneA. Está, no momento, trabalhando com aglomerados de galáxias, desde sua detecção à aplicação para a cosmologia. Tem a posição de Pipeline Scientist para o DESC, e também é um dos coordenadores do grupo da aplicação de lenteamento gravitacional para estimativa da massa de aglomerados de galáxias.

Has worked on a postdoctoral position for Laboratório Interinstitucional de e-Astronomia (LIneA), with a focus on the development of their scientific portal (with 75% of the time in tecnical activities and 25% for cience). Is a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratoire d'Annecy De Physique Des Particules (LAPP). Member of the international collaborations Dark Energy Survey (DES, with buildership status) andVera Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST, full member of the Dark Energy Science Collaboration - DESC) and a founding member of the LIneA association. Currently is working with galaxy clusters, from its detection to the application on cosmology. Is currently a Pipeline Scientist for DESC, and is also one of the conveners of the Weak lens cluster mass topical team.
